I would like to believe that people will not take my images and use them for their own purposes, therefor erasing all credits, hard work and originality to me.
I'd also love to sell my prints and I was thinking about making a calander of moths to sell, but I'm not sure if deviantart is the way to go as my cut would be very small indeed.
Although I do not think that I'm anywhere near as good as 60% of you on here, I'm still protective over my creations. They're all my children and no matter how ugly or imperfect, I care for all of them and want the best.
So how can I prevent my images being taken by those who have no respect? I don't want to spoil the image by having a great big watermark on it, but I see no other way. besides, the smaller image will still be watermarkless and thus up for grabs..
It's difficult, perhaps I should care less about these things or perhaps I don't care enough? Who knows.
Am I really good enough to steal from? Or am I just up my own proverbial *ss?
Perhaps I should just trust more in the decency of people on here, after all they wouldn't like their art stolen either.
Or does this logic not work in the real world?
So here's my apology for being paranoid and cautious (over nothing? or justified?) and adding watermarks to my photography at least.
Just in case..
